Jordan has been a wonderful teacher for my son Tyler (now 8), and I have seen his confidence grow tremendously in the months they have been working together. She is very knowledgeable about the intricacies of teaching foundational reading and math, and managed to engage Tyler and get him on the right track when he was beginning to feel discouraged about school.

Students are broken into small groups of 3-4 students of similar ages and learning needs.

Each group does about 2 hours per day of reading instruction, broken into smaller chunks.

Students enjoy fun camp activities such as outdoor adventures, group games, scavenger hunts, water balloon fights, art and building, and more.

How to decide between Camp Vs. a Summer Intensive

Camp

  • Small group setting.

  • Builds reading confidence and skills.

  • Fun camp experience.

Intensives

  • 1-1 instruction.

  • Highly targeted and personalized.

  • Possible to make 1-2 grade levels of progress.

Some families start off the summer with camp to get a strong skills boost, and then transition into an intensive to complete their students’ goals. If you might be interested in either program, reach out and we can help you design a custom plan to fit your child’s needs.
